We believe our Pre-school offers parents the highest quality childcare.
Parents can leave their child with confidence, knowing that they are in a happy, safe, and loving environment with everyone working to provide the best possible outcomes for their child.

We believe that it is in the Early Years that we can support children and build a foundation for future life skills and achievements.

Children are active learners and we use play to engage them in their learning.

Our team of Early Years practitioners are committed to providing warm, caring relationships and stimulating opportunities so that the children are happy and engaged while they are at Ceewood pre-school.

 

A day at ceewood

Children begin to encounter simple structure to their day. They continue to be given an exciting environment both inside and out offering them awide variety of early learning experiences.

Planning is sensitively formulated around the interests and developmental needs of the individual children in the room each day.
The children have lots of fun and their daily routines include language development, singing, art and craft, developmental music sessions, dance,and pencil/scissor control skills.

Your child will be able to make good use of our outdoor facilities where they can also get to understand nature,science and the environment whilst refining their motor skills.E

ach child will be assigned a key person who will encourage them to develop a wider range of skills in a fun, warm and enjoyable setting still focusing around play.

As your child gets older they are more independent are able to adapt to a more structured learning environment, supported by a balanced Curriculum.

As children start to reach school age we will gently start to prepare those children for the transition to school.

The children are given lots of help and re-assurance when they start toilet training and we work closelywith our parents at this important stage so as to make it as smooth and succesfull as possible. During the morning and afternoon sessions children are offereda healthy snack and drink of either milk or water provided by preschool.

Each day their will be activities for the children some adult led and some child led, Encouraging the children to use their imaginations and express themselves through play.

  • Snack time followed by a story in the quiet area

  • Group game, activity or further play

  • Some children go home, Others stay for lunch club

  • Afternoon children arrive

  • Adult led and free play activities inside and outside

  • Snack time followed by story in the quiet area

  • Group activitiy, rymes or game

  • Children leave to go home
